Meet Dr. Roberto A. Nicodemo, a seasoned primary care physician and physician assistant who brings a wealth of psychiatry experience with him. With a Doctor of Medicine, Physician Assistant certification, and Master of Pharmacy degree, Dr. Nicodemo has been practicing medicine for over 17 years. He also has an impressive track record in clinical trial management, with more than ten years of experience conducting such trials. Dr. Nicodemo is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and is passionate about advancing medical research.

Physician Investigator/ Clinical Research Physician.

Dr. Gonzalo Gonzalez Gonzalez is an internal Medicine Board Certified Member who provides long-term, comprehensive care to patients managing common and complex illnesses of adolescents, adults, and to elderly. In addition, he is a Physician Investigator who has been conducting medical research since 2008. Dr. Gonzalez has his Good Clinical Practice Update, and his priority is the well-being of the Subjects. Dr. Gonzalo Gozalez Gonzalez as an Internist physician, is training in diagnosing cancer treatments, infections, and diseases affecting the heart, blood, kidneys, joints, and the digestive, respiratory, and vascular systems. He is also trained in primary care internal medicine, which incorporates an understanding of disease prevention) less substance abuse, mental health, and effective treatment of common problems of the eye, ears, skin, nervous system, and reproductive organs. Dr. Gonzalo speaks English and Spanish both fluently and is a writer.

Physical Therapist

Nicodemo is licensed from Colombia Republic Metropolitan University in 1989. She has practiced as a Physical Therapist for 20+ years who joined Heisu Research Group as our in-house Physical Therapy Physician. Nicole working as our Physical Therapist specialized in pain management and has the GCP certified up to date. She is also graduated from Manual Therapy, and Sports Training/Rehabilitation.

PI

Dr. Leye Adigun, PhD, MCAP, MA is one of our PI who has a Master Degree in Psychology, he is the chief officer of Golden Glades Treatment Center. Dr Adigun is a pioneer in all related with addiction/substance abuse counselor, mental health counselor, and professional counselor. Dr. Oluleye Adigun has 5 years of experience in community health clinic.

Research Physician

Dr. Blumengold is part of the Heisu Research Team of Doctors as a Research Physician, has had experience conducting studies as a SUB investigator, he is also part of the Pharm Professor education with Publications about Embolization and retrieval of the Watchman Device from proximal abdominal aorta Journal of interventional Cardiac Electrophysiology in January of this year 2023. He speaks fluent in Italian, English with comprehension of Spanish.

Sub Investigator

Dr. Camille Romeu works in Heisu Research Group as a Sub Investigator MD graduated from the American International School of Medicine in 2015, she has multiples formal presentations topics in Meningitis, Sepsis, Sexually Transmitted infections and Hypertension in Pregnancy, she is also an Anesthesiology. Dr Camille first priority is her patients and their well-being, she has the ability to communicate with them as her most important skill.

Registered Nurse, RN and Clinical Research Coordinator CRC

Lourdes Amadeo is a Registered Nurse, RN and Clinical Research Coordinator CRC with plenty experience working in the medical field, graduated from an Associate Degree of Science in Nursing since December 2014. Lourdes Amadeo is responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. Her duties include communicating with doctors and other Registered Nurses about patient needs, administering IVs and medications to aid their patients’ health and using medical equipment to monitor patients’ vital signs.

CRC-Manager

Despite her young age, Cuesta has had professional achievements that make both family and friends proud of her. She studied at Miami Dade College Pre-Law school and later decided to enlist in the Navy for 4 years, where she served with integrity and dedication. Cuesta has awards such as 3 Navy and MARINE Corp achievement medal good conduct medal, Marksmanship ribbon pistol & rifle, National defense service metal ,Global war on terrorism service medal, Training Field Medical Training Battalion. Cuesta is the General Manager and CRC of Heisu Research Group where she works dedicated to both young and elderly patients, Strong leadership ability to lead a team of medical professionals in providing proper care for patients in a variety of situations is one of her skills. One of the Cuesta main goals is to define Standards Operating Procedures, Define Protocol, State the protection giving to human participants in Clinical Research.
